Eine Besonderheit dabei ist, dass die BAM Deutschland das Projekt schon während der Pre-Construction Phase begleitete und so frühzeitig unterstützen konnte. Dieses Modell war so erfolgreich, dass wir Ende letzten Jahres mit dem Folgeauftrag BK4 beauftragt wurden.

Flexible working policy will soon benefit the whole construction industry says BAM

Hemel Hempstead, 29 March 2021 - BAM Construct UK was part of a pioneering trial undertaken by four major construction companies to improve access to flexible working for site-based teams in 2019, conducted with independent consultancy Timewise. Although the trials were overtaken by the pandemic, which meant the construction industry adopting new measures to maintain safety, BAM says its new approach will have benefits for both its own people and the rest of the industry long after the pandemic subsides.

BAM sells subsidiary BAM Swiss to Implenia

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 30 March 2021 – Royal BAM Group nv has reached agreement to sell the shares of BAM Swiss AG (a subsidiary of BAM Deutschland AG) to Implenia AG. It is anticipated the transaction will close in May. Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.

26 March 2021 - Built environment company BAM has carried out an assessment of the embodied carbon and the operational carbon used in the design and construction of a new primary school in Somerset. Handing over King Ina School in Somerton, BAM said that its approach would benefit future school designs by giving it a benchmark that can both be revisited at the school itself, and which will help inform the design and construction of future schools.

Construction contract awarded for Carrigaline Western Relief Road

(Press release Cork County Council:) Cork, 19 March 2021 - Cork County Council has awarded the construction contract for the delivery of the Carrigaline Western Relief Road to BAM. The awarding of the contract follows the Council’s successful securing of €6.4 million under the Urban Regeneration & Development Fund from Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage. BAM will mobilise in the coming weeks, with a view to commencing construction in early April.  It is envisaged that the construction of the road will take approximately 18 months to complete.
