Bunnik, 29 October 2004 – Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau and Galère – both operating companies of Royal BAM Group nv – have in joint-venture been awarded a contract for the construction of a road tunnel in Luxembourg. At the same time, Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau has been awarded a joint-venture contract for the construction of an underground tunnel in Munich. The total contract value amounts to €222 million, of which €120 million is for the Group.

Bunnik, Netherlands, 11 October 2004 – Royal BAM Group nv has announced that it is in talks with RijnDijk Groep bv in Eindhoven regarding the transfer of BAM Steel Structures bv in Schiedam. Agreement is expected to be reached on this shortly.

Longmont, Colorado, 6 October 2004 – Flatiron Construction Corp. earned Colorado Construction magazine's Gold Hard Hat award in the concrete category for construction of a bridge over I-25 north of Denver, Colorado. Flatiron accepted the award Wednesday morning during a ceremony at the Lakewood Country Club.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 5 October 2004 - De Meyer, CEI and Interbuild, three Belgian operating companies of Royal BAM Group, have jointly acquired an order for the renovation of Bruges railway station worth €52 million. The work will be completed in the spring of 2008.
