Berlin, 26. November 2004 - Fünf Fußballfelder hätten Platz in dem heute eröffneten Logistikzentrum, welches die Kaiser’s Tengelmann AG nutzt. Wayss & Freytag Schlüsselfertigbau errichtete den Neubau in Berlin-Mariendorf in zwölfmonatiger Bauzeit. Generalübernehmer ist die WE-AG Grundstücks- und Beteiligungs AG aus Berlin. Die DSF Logistikzentrum Berlin GmbH & Co. KG ist der Investor des Projekts.

In mid-2003, Nuttall’s subsidiary John Martin, was commissioned to replace 117 roller bearings in the structure of the Thelwall Viaduct on the M6, which stretches 1,500 metres over the River Mersey and an adjacent canal. During the test phase in the months preceding, 23 roller bearings had already been replaced. One function of the bearings is to allow the bridge deck to freely expand and contract with fluctuating temperatures.

Bunnik, Netherlands, 1 November 2004 – Interbeton bv - the operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, active outside Western Europe - has been awarded two contracts in the United Arab Emirates with a total value of more than €86 million. The residential and office tower Park Place - with a height of 237 meter - will be realised for H.E. Humaid Bin Drai. The second project comprises the construction of an Ikea-outlet and a Hypermarket. Both contracts will be executed by Higgs & Hill Dubai, the local subsidiary of Interbeton. Park Place will be in joint-venture with Arabian Construction Company (ACC) from Abu Dhabi.
