Royal BAM Group has published its year results 2003 on 25 March. The net profit of Royal BAM Group nv – before deduction of the Competition Authority fine – increased by 79% in 2003 to €83.4 million (2002: €46.7 million).

Celtic Roads Group, which includes BAM’s Irish operating company Ascon, has been awarded the contract for design, build, finance, operate and maintenance of the Dundalk Western Bypass, north of Dublin. The contract value amounts to €170 million, with a share in excess of €55 million for Ascon. This is the third major infrastructural PPP-project in which Royal BAM Group is involved. Previous projects were the A59 near Rosmalen and the N31 in Friesland.
