Bunnik, The Netherlands, 31 March 2008 – The executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed Mr W.J. van Niekerk, currently area director BAM Woningbouw The Hague, director of BAM Infraconsult bv in Gouda with effect from 1 April 2008. William van Niekerk (38) succeeds Mr J.P.G. Ramler, who has been appointed director of BAM Wegen recently.

In the Belgian village of Vroenhoven near Maastricht, the construction of a new bridge over the Albert Canal includes moving a bunker. CEI-De Meyer is replacing the characteristic arch bridge as part of a canal-widening project. The contract value is 22 million euros.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 11 March 2008 – The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed Mr H. Bree, currently director of BAM Vastgoed, to the position of Property Investments Director of Royal BAM Group with effect from 1 April 2008. Alongside carrying out his current job, Henk Bree (52) already advises the Executive Board on all national and international property investments by the Group. In light of the increasing importance of the property portfolio for BAM, the Executive Board has asked Mr Bree to concentrate his efforts on that task.

Colindale, London, 6 March 2008 - HBG Construction Ltd has been awarded the First Stage contract to design and construct the new building for Harrow College, to be known as One Harrow. The contract is worth £80 million.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 21 February 2008 - Edmund Nuttall Ltd, the British civil engineering specialist of Royal BAM Group nv - has won a €46 million (£35 million) contract to modify a dry dock at the naval base Rosyth, near Dunfermline, at the east-coast of Scotland. The construction period is 139 weeks.

London, 22 February 2008 - HBG Construction in the Midlands has been appointed by Newcastle-under-Lyme College to design and build its new College, a project valued at £36 million as part of a £52 million development scheme.

In Carlow town, approximately ninety kilometers south-west of Dublin, Rohcon, the building division of Ascon Contractors, has commenced the construction of a visual arts centre or to use its formal name, The National Centre for Contemporary Art and the George Bernard Shaw Theatre. The building, designed by Terry Pawson Architects, is located close to the town centre on the grounds of a large nineteenth century seminary, which is overlooked by Carlow's cathedral.

The Prince of Wales opened the newly refurbished Royal Hall in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on Tuesday. HBG Construction carried out extensive remedial works, worth £10.7m, over two years.

Bunnik, 24 January 2008 - BAM PPP has reached financial close on West Dunbartonshire Council's £105m PPP schools project. BAM PPP is sponsoring the deal with its sister company HBG UK providing an integrated solution with HBG Construction as building contractor, HBG Design as a key member of the design team and HBG Facilities Management providing operational and maintenance services throughout the 30 year operational concession.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 22 January 2008 – Interbeton bv – the operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, active outside Europe – has been awarded a contract for a 430 key Crowne Plaza Hotel and 165 key Staybridge Serviced Apartment Hotel, with associated external works on Yas Island Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The project with an approximate value of € 110 million has been awarded by ALDAR Properties, Abu Dhabi’s leading integrated property development investment and management company, with a construction period of 21 months.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 21 January 2008 - Interbeton bv - the operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, active outside Europe - has received a letter of intent from Woodside approving the initial expenditure of up to € 18 million (AUD 30 million) for preliminary works for the LNG jetty berth for the Pluto LNG project on Australia's west coast.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 14 January 2008 - The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group has appointed Mr T.P.L.M. van Beek as director Corporate Social Responsibility. Tom van Beek (58) will hold the position in addition to his present position of director Management and Organisational Development at Royal BAM Group. The Board’s aim in appointing Mr Van Beek is to further intensify and structure the Group’s policy and performance in the area of sustainability or corporate social responsibility. It will also help to further increase awareness of corporate social responsibility within the Group.
