Bunnik, The Netherlands, 31 August 2009 - PT BAM Decorient Indonesia, a subsidiary of BAM International (Royal BAM Group’s operating company active outside Europe), has been awarded the contract to build an office tower for PT Tempo Realty in Jakarta. The contract value is €12 million. BAM Decorient will start with the construction on 1 September 2009 and will complete this project in the beginning of 2011.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 25 August 2009 - The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed Mr M.R. Bellamy MSc managing director of BAM International with effect from 15 September 2009. Martin Bellamy (45) was managing director of an international civil engineering company, based in the United Arab Emirates. Mr Bellamy will succeed Mr N. Dirkzwager, who is retiring after a 35-year career with the Group.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 21 August 2009 - The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed Mr T.M. Cullinane BE, CEng. FIEI managing director of BAM Contractors Ltd with effect from 1 September 2009. Theo Cullinane (53) is succeeding Mr J.B. Barrett BE, CEng. FIEI FIAE who will remain director until his retirement at year-end 2009. Brendan Barrett (60) has been employed by BAM Contractors since 1973 and has led the company since 1986.

BAM Nuttall has won a €20 million contract to build phase one of the South East Hampshire Bus Rapid Transit route. The works involve the construction of a 4.7km single carriageway road from Fareham to Gosport. They also include installation and diversion of services, a sustainable water surface drainage network and bus shelters with cycle storage. The project will take approximately two years to complete.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 21 August 2009 - Ghent University has awarded the PPP-project Kantienberg-Overpoort in Ghent to BAM. The project includes design, building, financing and maintenance of approximately 650 student apartments and an underground parking, as well as redevelopment of the university restaurant at the Overpoort. For BAM this DBFM contract has a value of approximately €100 million. Contractual close and financial close are due to be reached in October.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 19 August 2009 - The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv intends to appoint Dipl.-Ing. S. Currle, currently director of BAM Deutschland AG, managing director (Vorstandsvorsitzender) of Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG with effect from 1 October 2009.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 13 August 2009 - BAM Deutschland AG (Royal BAM Group's German operating company, which specialises in non-residential projects) has been awarded the turnkey contract to build a ministry complex in Stuttgart to house several government departments of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. The contract value is over €50 million. BAM Deutschland will complete this project for the client, Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg gGmbH, in mid 2011.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 11 August 2009 – BAM Deutschland AG (Royal BAM Group’s German operating company, which specialises in non-residential projects) has won contracts for the construction of the Coface Arena in Mainz and the renovation and upgrading of the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart. The combined contract value for the two projects comes to over €70 million.

Bunnik, The Netherlands, 7 August 2009 - Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau - the German tunnel specialist of Royal BAM Group nv - has won a contract (in joint venture with Berger Bau and Bauer Spezialtiefbau) for the construction of the south-western part of the central ring road in München. Client is Landeshauptstadt München. The total contract value is €170 million, of which BAM's share is more than €70 million. The construction period is five years. The tunnel is due to be open for traffic in autumn 2015.
