M. Schimmel

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 26 September 2013 – The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group intends to appoint Mr M. Schimmel MBA as chairman of the management of BAM Infratechniek bv with effect from 1 October 2013. Marinus Schimmel (1955) is currently director BAM Accommodatie Asset Management. Mr Schimmel will succeed Mr M. de Rooij RC, who is stepping down and will take up another position within BAM.

Hemel Hempstead, 24 September 2013 - BAM Facilities Management – the FM arm of BAM Construct UK – has secured a dozen new contracts valued collectively at around £3 million. The contracts span the private and public sectors, and across the education, property, commercial accommodation markets. All the contracts are for between one and three years.

BAM-MacDow-SYS joint venture reaches substantial completion of Vale iron ore jetty in Malaysia

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 9 September 2013 – The joint venture of BAM International, McConnell Dowell and See Yong & Son has reached substantial completion of the jetty for iron ore transport in Lumut, Malaysia, for the Brazilian mining company Vale.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 2 September 2013 - Royal BAM Group announces that its British civil engineering company BAM Nuttall has reached a settlement with Cambridgeshire County Council about the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway project. The out of court settlement means Cambridgeshire County Council will have paid BAM Nuttall £84.7million to build the busway, against an original contract price of £83.9 million. As the local authority has already paid more, BAM Nuttall will repay £33 million.
