Aztec West development Bristol

Hemel Hempstead, 22 March 2013 - BAM Properties has secured a tenant for its 30,000 sq ft 930 Aztec West development in Bristol. The developer has let the three-storey building to digital media giant Nvidia on a ten-year lease at £18.50 per sq ft. It is the largest letting in Bristol this year.

Sports and arts buildings for Sunderland College

Hemel Hempstead, 16 March 2013 - BAM Construct UK has been appointed for an £11 million project to improve sports and arts facilities at Sunderland College. The contractor will demolish several buildings at the college’s Bede Campus and build a new sports centre and a new visual and performing arts building.

Hemel Hempstead, 12 March 2013 - BAM has secured a contract on a significant refurbishment project of the historic London college that trained celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. The contractor has secured the preconstruction agreement for Westminster Kingsway College’s Grade II listed Victoria Centre.

New Middle Row Primary School

Hemel Hempstead, 12 March 2013 - BAM Construct UK is to build a £9.6 million primary school in West London. The national contractor, which has offices in the capital, will build new premises for Middle Row Primary in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 7 March 2013 - Mr H. Scheffers will resign by rotation as a member of the Supervisory Board, in connection with the end of his term of appointment following the General Meeting on 24 April 2013. If the General Meeting does not make any other recommendations, the Supervisory Board intends to propose that Mr Scheffers be reappointed for a period of four years.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 1 March 2013 - CEI-De Meyer (a Belgian operating company of Royal BAM Group nv) has won two joint venture contracts with a total value of more than €85 million. The client is Infrabel, the Belgian railway infrastructure manager. The activities include civil engineering works at the north and south side of Mechelen’s rail station.

BAM supports Macmillan

Hemel Hempstead, 28 February 2013 - BAM Construct UK has started a new charity partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support by raising over £9,500.- with a series of Big BAM Banquet events held across many of its construction sites and facility management teams.

Hemel Hempstead, 25 February 2013 -BAM Construction has secured a £26 million contract to design and rebuild a primary school and 80 residential units in North West London.

The contractor was awarded the contract for Netley Street School by the local education partnership for Camden, as part of the borough's Community Investment Programme.

Hemel Hempstead, 11 February 2013 - Gritting local roads, educating students and closely monitoring environmental impact has seen a major construction company receive national recognition for its performance on three separate Plymouth projects currently under construction. BAM Construct, which also has offices in the city, is building Marine Academy Plymouth, All Saints Academy and University Technical College Plymouth. It received at least 90 per cent of available marks in assessments of all three sites by industry image body the Considerate Constructors Scheme late last year.

Hemel Hempstead, 8 February 2013 - BAM is to build a futuristic addition to the University of Oxford’s Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College. The contractor is due to start on site this month to deliver the £11 million Softbridge building. The building has been designed by world famous architect Dame Zaha Hadid, who worked with BAM on the award-winning Riverside Transport Museum in Glasgow.

Bauherr ist der Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb (BLB) NRW. Die Auftragssumme beläuft sich für die BAM Deutschland AG auf über € 54 Millionen.

Bunnik, 30 January 2013 – BAM Deutschland AG (the German operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, specialising in non-residential building projects) has been commissioned by the NRW development corporation to construct three buildings for a university of applied sciences in Düsseldorf. The contract value is more than €54 million. At the same time, Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau (BAM’s German civil engineering company) received an order from the city of Düsseldorf to the value of more than €8 million for improving the accessibility to and from the campus site.

Hemel Hempstead, 29 January 2013 - BAM Construction has secured a £5.3 million construction contract as part of a total £7 million project to redevelop Plymouth’s landmark Theatre Royal. The contractor, which has offices in the Devon city, will re-clad the building’s curtain walling and refurbish the front-of-house area including the box office and the restaurant. The project will also involve work on the backstage and basement areas, as well as new mechanical and electrical plant.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 23 January 2013 - The Government Buildings Agency (Rijksgebouwendienst) and a consortium of BAM have reached financial close today for the new building of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague. The contract covers the design, construction, financing, maintenance and soft services over a thirty year period (‘DBFMO’).

Paul Danaux (56) has extensive management experience in the Belgian construction markets, among other positions as CEO of Eiffage Benelux. Galère is active in both the non-residential and the civil engineering sectors and is involved in all major construction projects in Wallonia.
