Hemel Hemstead, 18 February 2014 - BAM Construction has now started work on Salford’s new £10.4 million University Technical College (UTC) at MediaCityUK. UTC@MediaCityUK, as it will be known, will specialise in the creative and digital industries. It will give 14-19 year olds from Greater Manchester the chance to work with employers at MediaCityUK through its direct link to the industry.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 14 February 2014 - Civil engineering contractor BAM Nuttall has been awarded a contract valued at more than €100 million (£85 million) by Heathrow Airport Ltd to undertake refurbishment work on the main and cargo access tunnels to the airport which are the key routes into the airport for public and freight vehicles.

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 11 February 2014 - Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has awarded the BAM Clough Joint Venture (BAM Clough) a design and construction contract for a fifth iron ore loading berth at its Anderson Point Facility (AP5) in Port Hedland, Western Australia.
