CALA Homes World Heritage Site selects BAM for landmark development

Edinburgh, 10 July 2017 – The lead contractor for a landmark development within Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site has been confirmed. Following the signing of a contract worth more than £30 million, BAM Construction will deliver the main shell and core structure of The Crescent by CALA Homes, a sweeping curve of 84 glass-fronted, contemporary new residences set within one of the Scottish capital’s most iconic locations. CALA’s own team will carry out the fit out of the apartments.

BAM wins joint venture contract for government buildings in Berlin

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 5 July 2017 - BAM Deutschland, the German building company of Royal BAM Group nv, has been awarded (in joint venture with Hochtief) the contract for the refurbishment of two listed government buildings in central Berlin. The client is the German Building Agency (Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben, BImA). The future user of the buildings is the German Ministry of Health (Bundesministerium für Gesundheit, BMG). After completion of the construction works by the end of 2020, the joint venture will also be responsible for operation and maintenance of the Ministry building for a period of 25 years.
