BAM International celebrates 60 years of worldwide construction

60 years worldwide construction

The Hague, the Netherlands – 18 October 2018 – In 2018, BAM International celebrates its 60th anniversary. Over these six decades, we have built a solid reputation as a global contractor of marine construction projects, general building projects, industrial works and infrastructural projects such as airports, roads, tunnels, and bridges.

Today, BAM International is an established and highly respected international contractor with a global presence including Antarctica. We have worked for public and private clients in many different sectors in over 50 countries, in many cases building relationships that have taken us from one continent to the next.

Between the experience of our organisation and that of our mother company, Royal BAM Group, we offer a full lifecycle construction services including design, construction, and customer financing solutions. Joint venture partners, trusted subcontractors and suppliers further supplement our knowledge of local business cultures and legislative requirements.

Wherever we go, we apply the same high standards in health, safety, sustainability and the fostering of talent. This is our way of expressing that we value the people who are affected by our activities and stakeholders.

In addition to the work we do for our clients, we have a tradition of leaving behind something more tangible for the communities we associate with. These are diverse projects that include renovation of schools, religious facilities, health promotion, training of school children on safety and wellbeing, improvement of village roads etc. This year, on the occasion of our 60th anniversary we have financially supported and assisted the Peduli Anak Foundation on the ground, a charity that runs a school and housing project for street children on the Indonesian island of Lombok.

We are proud of what we have achieved over the first 60 years. We are grateful for the trust that our clients have bestowed upon us, for the collaborative spirit of our partners but most importantly the loyalty and dedication of our employees. We look forward to the next 60 years of contributing to this great industry.
