BAM welcomes new procurement framework in North West

Hemel Hempstead, 6 June 2018 - BAM has welcomed the announcement from Procure North West about which contractors have been selected for its new £2 billion framework – see here.

Adrian Blackie, Pre-Construction Director, BAM Construction North West, said: ‘We’re delighted to have been awarded a place on two lots of the Procure North West Framework, particularly given the large number of applicants that bid. Procure North West has clearly examined other frameworks and lessons learned from them. It could therefore complement the market place effectively in the region. This new framework certainly offers public sector clients in the North West another route to procure their capital delivery projects. We’re looking forward to working with Procure North West over the next four years and making the framework a success.’

BAM is behind numerous schemes across the region – for example, the redevelopment of trauma and urgent care at Aintree Hospital, the One Spinningfields development in Manchester, both recently completed, and three new major high schools in south Manchester and Cheshire for the Laurus Trust now under construction valued around £60 million collectively.
