BAM PPP and Building Equality celebrate and promote diversity in the construction industry

Glasgow, 17 August 2018 - BAM PPP, alongside our sister companies BAM Construct UK and BAM Nuttall, have joined forces with Building Equality, an alliance of 19 construction and construction-related companies working together to drive Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT+) inclusion in the construction industry.

On Saturday 25 August, BAM employees will be marching in the parade at Manchester Pride with our rainbow JCB and over 100 people representing Building Equality to help increase awareness of LGBT+ employees in the construction industry.

‘At BAM PPP diversity is our strength, not our weakness, and everyone who works here is judged on the personal contribution they make to our collective efforts, and on that alone’, says Kieron Meade, Managing Director, BAM PPP bv.

‘I support the Pride movement because I believe that all of us have the right to be who we are’, says Tim Hesketh, Managing Director, BAM PPP UK & Ireland.
