Bunnik, the Netherlands, 12 February 2019 - BAM Deutschland, the German non-residential construction company of Royal BAM Group nv, tendering in joint venture with Max Bögl Stiftung & Co. KG has won the contract for the second phase of the business campus of Wüstenrot & Württembergische AG in Kornwestheim, in the southern German state of Baden-Württemberg. Wüstenrot & Württembergische (W&W) is a listed provider of financial services and insurance.

The joint venture, called Arge 'Neubau Campus W & W, 2. BA', will deliver a high-quality campus complex with a total floor space of 86,000 m² for W&W employees. The second phase will include offices for 2,800 employees, an extensive conference centre, staff restaurants, a prevention centre for clients and a company medical practice.

The second phase comprises ten buildings in addition to four that have already been built during the first phase. Architects Ortner & Ortner Baukunst have loosely grouped the fourteen buildings around terraces. Because the buildings are different heights, the image of a lively street is created, which opens up to the surrounding landscape on the south side.

Construction work will start in the second quarter of 2019. The buildings will be in use by the end of 2022. It is expected that the entire W&W campus will be completed in 2023.
