Concrete printing facility

Gouda, 15 Janurary 2019 - After realising the world’s first 3D-printed concrete bridge, partners BAM Infra and Weber Beamix are now operating Europe’s first commercial, industrial-scale 3D concrete printing facility in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The bicyle bridge in Gemert, also in the Netherlands, marked the end of the experimental stage. Now the partners have scaled up their operation to the commercial and industrial level, printing prefab elements for the construction market.

Greatham South Flood Alleviation Scheme reaches completion, UK

(News release Mott MacDonald:) London, 8 January 2019 - The £16 million Greatham South Flood Alleviation scheme has been completed. The BAM Nuttall Mott MacDonald joint venture (JV) was commissioned by the Environment Agency in 2017 to design and build the second and final phase of the management scheme which addresses flooding concerns in Port Clarence and Greatham South area in the north of England.

Construction of a multi-million pound scheme to protect thousands of homes and businesses in Hull from flooding from the Humber has been given the go ahead.

Voyage delivers wharf-building equipment to Antartica

Eindhoven / Bunnik, the Netherlands, 2 January 2019 - Eindhoven Airport and construction company BAM have reached an agreement for the financial settlement of the incident of 27 May 2017, when the parking garage at Eindhoven Airport partially collapsed. Fortunately no casualties occurred in the incident.
