BAM wins design and build contract for new head office Johannes Fog

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 6 November 2020 - Johannes Fog, leading Danish supplier of building materials for professionals and private clients, has commissioned BAM Danmark a contract to design and build a complex of approximately 15.400 m², including new office facilities for Johannes Fog’s  headquarters and hardware store, youth apartments and educational facilities. The contract value exceeds €30 million.

For this project, BAM Danmark has entered into a partnership with Kant Architects, as well as the engineering firm Sweco.

The project is located in Lyngby, near the current head offices of Johannes Fog. Lyngby is situated in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen.

We are very proud that a highly respected private client as Johannes Fog, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, is relying on us to deliver their new headquarters.’

BAM Danmark was founded in 2014 by Royal BAM Group. The company currently employs approximately 60 people. Previous and ongoing projects include:

  • projects for DTU (Technical University of Denmark), including biotechnology research centre, offices and wind energy test facilities;
  • school projects in the Greater Copenhagen Area, including the European school, Sluseholmen School, Arenakvarterets Scholl and Læringshus Nærheden;
  • high end office facilities for both private and public clients, e.g. Helsingør Forsyning, HOFOR and Carlsberg Byen.
