BAM appoints Group ICT director

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 2 March 2020 – The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed Mr H. (Henry) van de Ven as as Group Director ICT with effect from 1 May 2020.

Henry van de Ven (57) has worked for Nutreco since 2011 as Chief Information Officer. Previously he was employed by among others Philips and Vendex International. He has been CIO and IT leader in different multinational industries delivering IT strategy, governance, IT organisation, programme management and operations management.

In his new role Henry van de Ven will lead the IT organisation and further shape the digital future of BAM. He will be driving the implementation of the One BAM programmes for BAM’s IT community. These initiatives improve knowledge sharing and enable the Group to leverage its scale. Rationalising BAM’s IT landscape (‘fit for the digital future’) will result in improved performance and savings, in line with the strategy.

Key initiatives include implementing a uniform IT infrastructure, processes, applications and services model - enabling the workforce by providing a single ‘One BAM workplace’ for employees and partners accessible any place, anywhere. This will increase the efficient and effective use of applications and data across BAM.
