Kill, 24 January 2022 – BAM Ireland has been appointed as the main contractor for the Bausch + Lomb Area 10 Expansion at their Waterford facility. This 6,000 m² expansion to the northern and western sides of the Bausch + Lomb facility will provide production facilities, storage areas, offices, link corridors and staff accommodation.

World first: electric asphalt paver for BAM

Gouda, the Netherlands, 14 January 2021 – Royal BAM Group’s Dutch civil engineering company (BAM Infra Nederland) has commissioned Wirtgen and New Electric to convert an asphalt spreading machine into the world's first fully electrically driven asphalt spreading paver. On an annual basis, the use of this machine will save more than 93,000 kilograms of CO₂ and 115,000 grams of nitrogen oxide emissions.
