Bunnik, the Netherlands – Royal BAM Group nv has completed the acquisition of Gebroeders Blokland, as announced on 29 January 2026, following approval by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
The acquisition will further strengthen BAM’s position in the Dutch residential property development and construction market. Through this transaction, BAM strategically expands its pipeline of development positions by approximately 2,400 homes and adds a strong regional development portfolio and valuable land and building rights. Combining BAM’s expertise with Gebroeders Blokland’s established local presence will enhance opportunities for joint sales, the acquisition of development and construction projects, and the optimisation of a shared network and project portfolios. It will also enable BAM to apply its wooden housing concept, Flow, to Blokland locations, supporting BAM’s strategy to grow in sustainable and affordable residential development across the Netherlands.
Gebroeders Blokland will continue to operate under its own name. As of 11 March 2026, Blokland’s results will be consolidated into BAM’s financial results.
