Back to the future at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, UK

Doctors of the future will be able to learn abouth the work of the 21st century counterparts thanks to a time capsule buried beneath the newest building at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester. A burial ceremony was held at the £5.7 million education and research centre – a 59-week project which HBG is scheduled to complete by the autumn.

The stainless steel capsule was cemented under the entrance hallof the 6,500 square meters, four-storey building's library by Professor Sir Martin Haaris, vice chancellor of the Univeristy of Manchester. Professor David Harden, chairman of the South Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust, and HBG Construction director Martin Wood were also in attendance.
