BAM Deutschland successfully secures new contracts

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 3 September 2013 – BAM Deutschland AG (the German operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, specialised in non-residential construction projects) has secured four new contracts within a short space of time with a total contract value of more than €110 million.

BAM Deutschland will develop and build the residential and shopping complex PolygonGarden in Berlin-Friedrichshain on behalf of Archigon Projektentwicklung & Baubetreuung GmbH. The project comprises 132 apartments spread over seven floors, six retail units and underground parking for approximately fifty cars. The project name refers to the facade with its many angles and planes, designed by HKA Hastrich Keuthage Architects in Berlin. BAM Deutschland will complete the project at the beginning of 2015.



In Frankfurt, BAM Deutschland has started construction work on the office for the city’s Department of Public Works (Strassenbau- und Grünflächenamt der Stadt Frankfurt). The extremely sustainable office has a gross floor area of more than 28,000 sq m and accommodates approximately six hundred employees. The building has a basement with parking spaces and technical rooms, and six office floors. The office was designed by Schneider + Schumacher architects.



In Rastatt (located on the Rhine, between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg), BAM Deutschland will develop and build the SchlossGalerie shopping centre (with office and parking spaces) on behalf of CharterHaus Real Estate GmbH. SchlossGalerie is situated in the main street of this southern German city. Meanwhile, 85 percent of the retail spaces have been leased. It is anticipated that the project will be completed at the beginning of 2015. The architectural design is the work of Kühnl & Schmidt Architects in Karlsruhe and the Dutch agency Hoogstad Architecture and Urban Design in Driebergen.



BAM Sports – a subsidiary of BAM Deutschland – will start the construction of the Arena Regensburg football stadium in January. Regensburg is located in the middle of the southern German state of Bavaria. The stadium, with space for more than 15,000 spectators, will be the home of SVV Jahn, which is currently in the third division. The stadium was designed by architect Stefan Nixdorf of agn Niederberghaus & Partner GmbH and comprises four free-standing tribunes with a striking red facade.
