BAM reconstructs traffic interchange in Luxembourg

BAM vernieuwt verkeersknooppunt in Luxemburg

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 15 March 2016 – BAM has won the contract for the reconstruction of intersection Dudelange-Burange on the A13 highway in Luxembourg. The client is the governmental agency Administration Ponts & Chaussées. The contract value is nearly €20 million. The project will take four years to complete. The construction activities will be carried out by BAM Lux in joint venture with Galère, the Walloon civil engineering company of BAM.

The intersection between the N31 motorway and the highway A31 will be resconstructed completely to improve the flow of traffic and to improve the accessibility of nearby industrial estates. BAM will demolish some older infrastructure and construct new bridges, viaducts and retaining walls. The road works will include the construction of new ramps and a large roundabout.
