BAM sells Mostert De Winter to Elkarij

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 23 October 2015 – BAM Infra Nederland bv has sold its subsidiary Mostert De Winter bv in Hardinxveld-Giessendam to Elkarij bv in Wouw. Mostert De Winter is roof garden, façade vegetation system  and landscaping specialist. The transaction includes all 39 employees, work in progress and plant and equipment.

BAM sees insufficient opportunities for further development of the activities of Mostert De Winter and considers the added value of this specialization for the Group limited. The transaction is in line with the streamlining of the organisation in relation to BAM’s Back in Shape programme. Last year Mostert De Winter’s turnover was approximately €16 million.

Elkarij is leading in landscaping and construction and maintenance services for public spaces in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Germany. The company has a turnover of approximately €200 million and employs 2,200 people. Mostert De Winter will continue its activities under its own name. By this transaction Elkarij will gain a prominent position in the market for green roofs and facades.
