Course of business during the first six months of 2010

Royal BAM Group nv achieved revenue of €3,430 million in the first six months of 2010, which is approximately 15% less than in the same period last year (€4,043 million), The main reason behind the fall in revenue was the reduced volume in residential construction and property. The consequences of the long period of frost at the beginning of the year were limited for most companies.

All sectors ended the first six months of the year in the black, with the exception of Property, which incurred a loss. The result before tax increased to €66.2 million (2009: €53.7 million). The net result for the Group for the first six months of 2010 was €50.6 million (2009: €41.9 million).
