BAM to recommend appointment of EY as its auditor as of 2016
Bunnik, the Netherlands, 22 January 2015 – The Supervisory Board of Royal BAM Group nv will recommend to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders that will be held on 22 April 2015, the appointment of Ernst & Young Accountants LLP as the company's auditor for an initial three year period with effect from the financial year 2016.
This recommendation follows the new Dutch law that an audit firm may not conduct a statutory audit of a listed company for more than eight consecutive years. BAM's auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers Accountants N.V., will remain in place until the conclusion of the audit process for the financial year 2015.
