BAM wins two contracts in Switzerland

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 2 September 2013 – BAM Swiss (the subsidiary of Royal BAM Group active on the Swiss construction market since 2012) has won two contracts in and near Zurich with a total contract value of approximately €28 million.

In the municipality of Dietikon, just west of Zurich, BAM Swiss will build the Limmat Tower residential complex on behalf of Halter Entwicklungen AG. The project in the new district of Limmatfeld comprises the construction of a parking garage, a one-hundred-metre high residential tower with 107 apartments and a building with 120 homes for the elderly, including sheltered accommodations. The contract value is approximately €15 million (CHF 18.6 million). The work will start this month and completion is anticipated in December 2014. The design is by Huggenbergerfries Architekten AG in Zurich.

On behalf of Swiss Life Versicherungs AG, BAM Swiss will build the Tic Tric Trac office complex in Zurich comprising underground parking on two levels, on top of which two six-storey office buildings and a ten-storey office building will be constructed. The total gross floor area amounts to 51,000 m². The project – contract value more than €13 million (CHF 16.8 million) – will be built according to a design by Baumschlager Eberle Architekturbüro of Vaduz and is anticipated to be completed in December 2014.
