BAM’s facilities team appointed to help to manage Salisbury’s new UTC

Hemel Hempstead, 22 July 2015 - BAM FM has won a £135,000 deal to supply a range of services to South Wiltshire UTC in Salisbury. The company will provide cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance services for the university technical college, which will open in September. BAM FM will also look after mechanical and electrical maintenance, premises management and caretaking. Sister company BAM Construction is in charge of creating the building from a former police station.

BAM FM business development manager Lee Challenger said: ‘BAM is delighted to be chosen to carry out these important duties for South Wiltshire UTC. The relationship between BAM Construction and ourselves will help us maximise the benefits of the building for its users.’

The 12-month deal begins on 1 September and could be renewed beyond next August.

South Wiltshire UTC will specialise in science and engineering. It will be open to 14-18 year olds.
