Flatiron secures five new projects in the United States

Five new projects have been awarded to BAM’s US operating company Flatiron since November 2003, totaling over $70 million worth of work.

FCI North recently won a project, in a joint venture with Pavex Construction, to reconfigure and widen existing ramps at the Interstate 880/Coleman Avenue interchange. The project will begin in March 2004. FCI North also secured a contract to build a new eastbound bridge for State Route 237 over the Guadalupe River in San Jose, California. The City of San Diego awarded FCI South a contract to replace the La Jolla Cove wall and improve the bluffs in and around the immediate area. he project is slated for completion summer 2004. FCI South also secured a new project to build a replacement bridge over Los Penasquitos Creek at North Torrey Pines Road in San Diego, California, which is schedule for completion in May, 2005. Furthermore Flatiron acquired a new project to remove and replace the bridge over Niver Creek at Downing Drive, northeast of Denver, Colorado.
