HBG Construction begins work on £9.5m Redcar PFI Scheme

HBG Construction Ltd is part of a consortium that has been awarded a £9.5 million PFI contract by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council for the construction and operation over a 25-year period of fully serviced offices and a business centre.

The PFI consortium is led by the Norwich Union Public Private Partnership Fund [NUPPP] and incorporates HBG Construction as both design and build contractor and facilities management contractor for the scheme.

Under the PFI contract, each property is to be fitted-out by HBG Construction to meet the council’s requirements and full facilities management services are to be provided by HBG’s FM division for the entire period of the contract.
