Interbeton wins three contracts in Jakarta, Indonesia

Gouda, the Netherlands, 25 August 2004 – Interbeton bv (the operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, active outside Western Europe) has been awarded three contracts with a total value of more than EUR 12 million.

Interbeton is operating in the Republic of Indonesia by its subsidiary Decorient since 1970.

Just outside Jakarta, Decorient will start this month with the construction of a beverage plant. The client is PT San Miguel Indonesia. Next spring the project will be completed. Construction of the multi product beverage plant for production and distribution of ready-to-drink soft beverages consists of a 19,000 m² production building, a three-storey utility building, foundations for process equipment and external works.

In the business district Kuningan of the Indonesian capital, Decorient has started with the renovation of the Royal Netherlands Embassy. Client is the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The work consists of a complete interior refurbishment of the embassy building and the adjoining Dutch Cultural Centre ‘Erasmus Huis’. The project will be completed in October 2005. Decorient has build the Royal Netherlands Embassy in 1980.

For the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Decorient will renovate the Egyptian Embassy, located in an old colonial building in Jakarta. Furthermore, a new office building will be constructed, consisting of two stories and a basement. Completion is scheduled for September 2005.
