Interbuild wins three contracts for residential buildings

Nieuw Zuid (New South), South of Antwerp city center

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 7 November 2013 - Interbuild nv – an operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, active in Flanders and Brussels for non-residential and residential projects – has been awarded three contracts for apartment buildings with a total contract value of €33 million.

In Antwerp, Interbuild will build Residence Melopee for Gands project development. Residence Melopee includes 32 luxury apartments with one, two or three bedrooms above underground parking, designed by Crepain Binst Architecture from Antwerp.

South of Antwerp city center Interbuild will build Nieuw Zuid (New South) for project developer Triple Living. Nieuw Zuid comprises 77 apartments. The apartment building unites two architectural visions. The Scheldt side was designed by the Antwerp firm Poponcini & Lootens ir architecten bvba (Polo Architects), the other side by Atelier Kempe Thill (Rotterdam). Parking is situated under the apartment building.

In Bilzen (Belgian Limburg near Maastricht) Interbuild will build Belisa. The client is Skyline Limburg, a sister company of Skyline Europe, the largest residential developer in Brussels. Belisa includes 98 apartments above an underground car park. The award-winning design is by architect Christine Conix Antwerp, who also designed the Belgian pavilion at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
