M&S 'renewal programme'

As part of Marks & Spencer's nationwide store 'Renewal Programme', HBG Construction has been awarded contracts for the upgrading of five stores in the London area.

These include the Pantheon store in Oxford Street, Brooklands store in Weybridge, both main and satellite stores in Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey and the Culverhouse Cross store in Cardiff; all with a total value of some €38.6 million.

Commencement of work at the stores is in August, with completions at the end of September and October 2001. The works involve the general upgrade of floors, walls, ceilings and lighting.
