£42 million of new offices for HBG

Four new office contracts totalling £42.9 million have been awarded to HBG Construction.

In Birmingham, HBG has started work on Eight Brindleyplace, a mixed-use office and residential scheme. The £17.5 million design and construct project has been designed by architect Sidell Gibson and is HBG’s fourth project for Argent at Brindleyplace.

On behalf of the John Lewis Partnership, HBG will design and construct a new £13.5 million office complex in Bracknell. Work will start on site this month and is scheduled to be completed by Autumn 2001. Architect for this project is HBG Design.

A £9.5 million new office complex is to be built for Capital and Counties at Uxbridge in Middlesex. Concept design has been undertaken by Lyons Sleeman Hoare and work starts in July with completion due 2001.

The fourth project is for Taylor Clarke Properties, for whom HBG is to design and construct a new two-storey office building at Chertsey in Surrey. The £2.4 million scheme has architectural, structural engineering and M&E services provided by HBG. The Project Manager and quantity surveyor is Cross and Hall.
