Royal Honour for Mr D. Sinninghe Damsté
Rijswijk, the Netherlands - Mr D. Sinninghe Damsté has been invested as Officer in the Order of Oranje-Nassau at his retirement from the Board of Management of HBG, Hollandsche Beton Groep nv.
The Royal Honour was presented to him on 22 November 2000 in The Hague by Mr J.M. Hupkes, Deputy-Mayor of Wassenaar.
Mr Damsté has been a member of the Board of Management since 1988. He received the Royal Honour partly due to his involvement in charitable trusts. Amongst Mr Damsté's various executive positions, he is treasurer for the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten [Association of Nature Reserves].
