Tebodin establishes first office in Indonesia

The Hague, the Netherlands, 14 June 2011 - Tebodin Consultants & Engineers has established the first office in Indonesia. With this new office, located in Jakarta, the company enters another country to offer consultancy and engineering services. Tebodin Indonesia is the latest addition to the global Tebodin network consisting of approximately 50 offices in 20 countries. It is the fourth office of Tebodin in the Asia Pacific region.

Tebodin is working on three projects in Indonesia for multinational clients. An EPCm project (Engineering, Procurement and Construction management) for AkzoNobel Paints in Cikarang was the first project Tebodin scored. This project was initiated to increase the capacity of the production and storage of waterborne paint. For Cabot Tebodin is working on FEED (Front End Engineering & Design) which comprises the expansion of the Cilegon plant with two production units for producing rubber black carbon. The third project is a small EPCm job for the expansion of Knauf Gypsum’s production capacity in Cikampek, that produces gypsum partition walls. 

Tebodin has seen a rapid growth in the Asia Pacific region over the last years. Tebodin China, established in 2004, consists of offices in Shanghai (2004) and Guangzhou (2010). Tebodin Vietnam, with its office in Ho Chi Minh City (2009), has just been relocated to a bigger office to accommodate the growth. The total number of employees, working in these offices are approximately 170.
