Tunnelling contract in The Hague

BAM Civiel and Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau were awarded, in joint venture with Van Hattum en Blankevoort, the contract for the construction of the Hubertustunnel in The Hague. The contract value is more than 90 million euros, of which 57 million for both BAM-companies.

The 1,6 kilometer long drilled tunnel consists two tubes, each with a dual carriageway. In the beginning of October the first sheet-piling will take place. The project will be finished in mid 2008. The Hubertustunnel is the last link in the Northern ringroad of The Hague.
