Two contracts for Royal BAM Group in USA

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 20 November 2002 – FCI Constructors (a subsidiary of HBG Constructors, Inc., part of Royal BAM Group) was awarded two contracts in the state of California, USA, with a combined value of approximately $45 million.

These projects include the reconstruction and reconfiguration of interchanges in Mountain View, Santa Clara, and a highway improvement project in San Diego County.

Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority awarded the joint venture FCI Constructors/Pavex a $52 million contract (of which 62% for FCI Constructors) to construct five bridge structures, widen one existing bridge and demolish two old bridges. The project will take approximately 32 months to complete.

The California Department of Transportation awarded FCI Constructors a $13.6 million project, including freeway widening, ramp improvements and additional road work between Interstates I-15 and I-5 in San Diego County, California. Construction will begin in early January 2003 and will last approximately 16 months
