Set to start in March 2002 with completion in December 2003, the project is joint-funded by the Wellcome Trust, HEFCE and the University.

HBG Construction is currently working at six other English universities – Birmingham, Hull, Lancaster, Liverpool, Wolverhampton, and York – demonstrating significant expertise in the higher education sector.

Working with HBG at Sheffield will be architect Bond Bryan Partnership, quantity surveyor Citex Bucknall Austin, services engineer Waterman Gore, structural engineer Eastwood and Partners, and project manager AYH.
