Saqr Port expansion in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

The Hague, the Netherlands, 23 May 2019 – BAM International, the operating company of Royal BAM Group active outside Europe, has successfully completed Phase 1 and 2 of the Saqr Port Expansion. The combined project value was approximately €75 million. BAM International delivered the project to its client, Saqr Port, in Spring 2019.

First Antarctic construction season success

BAM wins third contract for Technical University of Denmark

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 16 May 2019 – The Danish Building and Property Agency has awarded BAM Danmark a design and build contract to deliver two new buildings (4.540 m2) and to refurbish two existing buildings (3.080 m2) for DTU Risø DPIV, Vind Energy research (the wind energy department of the Technical University of Denmark) on DTU Risø Campus, City of Roskilde. The contract value is approximately €16 million. BAM Danmark expects to complete the project in July 2021.

BAM donates tree to municipality of Bunnik for its 150th anniversary

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 13 May 2019 – The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv and representatives of the municipality of Bunnik have planted a Japanese honey tree (Styphnolobium japonicum) on the occasion of BAM's 150th anniversary. The European construction company BAM is planting 150,000 trees in this anniversary year.

BAM Nuttall lead bidder for Brent Cross South infrastructure contract

Camberley, 13 May 2019 - BAM Nuttall is delighted to be selected as the preferred infrastructure contractor for the Brent Cross South development by the joint venture established between Argent Related and Barnet Council. The framework will deliver infrastructure over the next 10-15 year; a critical part of the project’s delivery, enabling the new town centre via improvements to community, social and leisure facilities for existing and new residents and businesses in this part of north London. The contract includes new and improved parks and public spaces; streets and roads; and services, drainage and utilities, in preparation for the construction of new homes, workspace and retail and leisure.
