HS2 begins enormous dig in Bucks/Oxon for two of the route’s longest cuttings

1.9 million cubic metres of rock and earth to be excavated to create the two cuttings – enough to fill the Royal Albert Hall more than twenty times.

(Pres release HS2:) London, 19 October 2022 - HS2 Ltd has begun work on two of the longest cuttings on the new high speed rail project, where the equivalent of more than twenty Royal Albert Hall’s worth of rock and earth must be excavated to provide a level bed for the railway.

Dutch authorities investigate some projects of BAM International

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 17 October 2022 – Friday 14 October 2022, the Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation Service and the Dutch Public Prosecutions Office have visited the offices of BAM International bv in Gouda. BAM International was informed that the company is the subject of an investigation relating to potential irregularities at some already completed projects. BAM is fully cooperating with the investigation.

Northants school children celebrate first beehives installed on HS2 wildlife site

BAM accelerates UK and Ireland carbon reductions to net zero by 2026

BAM Ireland shows strong recovery in 2021

Kill, Co. Kildare, 22 September 20222 - BAM Ireland, one of the country’s leading construction firms, has recovered from the impact of Covid-19 restrictions and has shown strong improvement in its annual report for 2021. The company had a consolidated turnover of €626.2 million for 2021 compared to €460.8 million in 2020, resulting in a turnaround to a pre-tax profit of €10.7 million from a pre-tax loss of €16.9 million in 2020.
