BAM sells operating company BAM Galère to Thomas & Piron Group

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 2 December 2021 – Royal BAM Group nv has reached agreement to sell the shares of its operating company BAM Galère (including its subsidiary BAM Lux and BAM Galère’s plant and equipment, managed by BAM Mat) to the Belgian construction company Thomas & Piron Group. The transaction, which is subject to approval of the competition authorities, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022. Financial details of the transaction are not being disclosed.

Camberley, 1 December 2021 - BAM's rail team delivered a major bridge installation in Moy, Scottish Highlands this weekend, despite contending with extreme weather conditions. The BAM team, working in collaboration with Network Rail, successfully completed the installation of the 670-tonne structure despite the challenges presented by Storm Arwen which brought winds of up to 90mph along with temperatures of -8C.

Official opening of the new water treatment plant at Vartry Reservoir

Kildare, Ireland, 9 November 2021 - The new water treatment plant at Vartry Reservoir was officially opened on Friday by Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Daragh O’Brien, Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council Shay Council, and Irish Water Managing Director Niall Gleeson. N26 River Moy Bridge beam installation

The beams are 85m long and 3.30m high and were installed over two lifts, each lift was 270t.

BAM reports third quarter adjusted EBITDA of €66 million, outlook reiterated

First nine months 2021 trading update

Royal BAM Group nv reports for the first nine months of 2021 an adjusted EBITDA of €223 million versus an adjusted EBITDA of €38 million in the same period of 2020. In the third quarter there was a strong performance from Dutch Construction and Property, and a satisfactory contribution from most other activities. The large contracts division of Dutch Civil engineering continues to underperform. The order book of €13.5 billion remains high. BAM is making good progress with its new strategy: a continued focus on rebalancing of the portfolio, further de-risking, increasing profitability and creating a sustainable platform for future growth. For 2021, BAM reiterates the outlook of an adjusted EBITDA margin of around 3.5 per cent.
